Married 4
“Livin’ the dream” up here in the Northwest.  Retired early as a school administrator and chose to travel the country / world often.  After graduating from college, I taught at Curtis High School in Tacoma, WA for 10 years.  I traveled south to be a school administrator and ended up in Vancouver, WA for working at Evergreen and Heritage High Schools.  Now, with just about 50 years of my life gone by since Willow Glen days, it’s easy to reflect how proud I am of my twin sons and my daughter who are married and getting along quite well in their lives.  The same goes to another son who is not married.  There’s also a hard to define fulfillment that comes with having grandchildren around, too.  (2 are in college, 1 in high school and 2 under 5-years-old)  I met my wife at Pacific Lutheran University while attending a graduate class.  After her stint as a stay-at-home mom, she returned to public education as a junior high counselor.  Now retired, she does her best to put up with me.  What's happened with me in the span of 50 years since the high school graduation…?  Well, a topic like that is what reunions are for, right?

Retired Married 2
After graduation I worked for various high tech companies in production and worked as a trainer in the training department of Fairchild.  Just recently I retired from an office manager position for a general contractor.  I have been married for 43 years, to my husband Richard.  We have 1 son and 1 daughter and 2 beautiful grandchildren.  We have had the opportunity to travel throughout this beautiful country to many of its states and have had the awesome chance of traveling to a number of other countries, which includes Tanzania, Africa and Italy.  I will not be able to attend the reunion as we will be traveling again.  The last reunion I attended was the 20th.    Send Janet a MessageSend Janet a Message

Semi-Retired Married 3
I earned a BA in Social Welfare when I was 24 and a Masters degree in Social Work when I was 44 years old. I have resided in Humboldt County, Ca since 1981. I retired from the county in 2014, after working for Children & Family Services for 28 years. After 4 years of retirement, I recently returned to my old position on a part-time basis. I am married to Joe Scardina, having reconnected with one another in a most romantic fashion on the night of our 30th high school reunion in 1999. We were married in 2000, have three children between us and three grandchildren, ages 20, 13 and 7. I enjoy lots of family time, reading, walking our dog, traveling and following the Golden State Warriors and San Francisco Giants. Can't wait until the event! Send Jeri a MessageSend Jeri a Message

retired chemistry professor Married 2
After getting a B. Sc., in Chemistry from UC Berkeley and both an M. Sc. and Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Michigan I spent my entire working life teaching Chemistry at SUNY Alfred and doing glass and electrochemical research at Corning Inc.

I retired in 2018 and am busily traveling the world with my wife of 41 years, Daylih,  (the woman in red in the `Now' pix, who I met in grad school) before either her body or mine gives out.  So far we've been to Greece, Spain, the Amazon, the Galapagoes, Iceland, Turkey and the Baltic States.  When not traveling I am an avid yoga practitioner doing at least one session day, often two. I'm also trying to re-learn all 15 Two Part Inventions by Bach and have the start of a novel.

My two daughters, 28 and 31 (see two on right of the `Now' picture), are both out of the house and happily and gainfully employed in NYC. I'm still living in the same house I bought 37 years ago but its been remodeled three times.  Oh yes, and it's paid for. I can endure upstate NY winters so that I can love upstate NY in this place during the glorious summers and falls.

Sorry I can't come to our (gasp!) 50th HS reunion. I'm traveling to Scotland for another trip of 14 days in September. Have fun and I'll think on you.

Real Estate Sales Single
After spending a few years at Chico State, I returned to Santa Clara University to complete my business degree.  With a short stint in the food industry working in San Francisco, I returned to San Jose and became a Realtor, having always enjoyed architecture and our neighborhoods.   I have lived in Willow Glen or Los Gatos for most of my adult life and continue to live near Willow Glen and sell real estate in our local areas.  I have remained single, and enjoy spending time during winter at my casita in Puerto Vallarta.  I feel blessed to have remained in San Jose thus far.
